In playing around with Google Bookmarks, I've inadvertantly ended up with a slew of unnecessary entries. As someone has already mentioned to me, clicking on stars a bazillion times over can become quite a pain.

Here's a relatively painless means of clearing many bookmarks through Mozilla/Firefox, in case you ever want to start from scratch. You might like it, if you find my import/export tool unsatisfactory.

• Add the following bookmarklet to your bookmarks: GB Delete.
• Surf on over to Google Bookmarks (opens in a new window), and give that bookmarklet a little click.
• You'll see a prompt asking you for the number of bookmarks to delete, most recent first. There's a minimum of 5; if you have fewer, all will be deleted. If you'd like to clear all over your bookmarks, simply input a large number like 10000.
• Done.

Remember, this is for Mozilla/Firefox based browsers.
